She's a global pin up so of course Sofia Vergara has to maintain a certain image.
But perhaps she went a bit too far with her ridiculously short mini skirt on a night out in London.
The Latin actress, 39, was pictured leaving the Wolseley restaurant on Piccadilly in the centre of the capital and fortunately she was wearing a pair of tights to spare her modesty.
Sofia matched the skirt with a black top, Louboutin heels and a black fur-collared winter coat - finishing off the ensemble with a leopard print purse bag.
She dined out at the plush eaterie where the menu offers such delights as veal Holstein and chicken soup with dumplings which are permanent fixtures on the menu, as are the changing plats du jour.
The restaurant also sells a variety of household items and cooking products, including coffee sets and silverware.
After dinner Sofia headed to Claridges where she arrived at 1am.
Earlier this week the Modern Family star looked stunning as she attended the UK premiere of Happy Feet Two with her co-stars Elijah Wood and Robin Williams.
Making sure she wasn't too inappropriate for the kids' premiere, the 39-year-old brought a considered allure to the ice-themed carpet in her strapless purple animal-print prom gown.
Attending a pre-premiere party at the Connaught Rooms before the Leicester Square screening, Vergara flirted up a storm with a man dressed in a Lovelace costume.
She jetted to London last weekend after partying in Florida following the Los Angeles premiere of Happy Feet Two last weekend.
A host of British celebrities turned out to the premiere, many with their children, including Nicola McLean, Trinny Woodall, Danny Dyer, Anthea Turner and Fay Ripley.
Sofia's role in the animated sequel sees her providing the voice for the sexy Carmen, the object of wild affection for the luststruck Ramon (voiced by Robin Williams).
Asked how difficult it was for her to adapt to the role, she said: 'It was a no-brainer. I had to do no research to get that character."
'I thought it was going to be rough, because, I guessed, you'd have to pretend to be a penguin all by yourself, alone in the studio.
'So, it was a big surprise to me when I arrived in Australia and it was all of us - Robin, Hank [Azaria] - together in the studio, and we were looking at each other, and acting. So, that made it really easy...'
Happy Feet Two is released in the UK on December 2.
