Kelly Rowland looked stunned and confused when a reporter broke the news that Frankie Cocozza had left the show. 

X Factor judge Kelly Rowland was caught unaware of the show's decision to axe contestant Frankie Cocozza.

A reporter told her the news and her reaction was caught on camera.

Rowland looked absolutely stunned and covered her mouth with her hand in shock before saying that she needed to double-check with the show's producers that this was correct.

Earlier a spokeswoman for The X Factor said: "Frankie is leaving the show today after breaking competition rules.

"He is going to take some time out before continuing his career as a singer. We wish him all the best for his future."
