Miley Cyrus' brother Trace gets engaged to Disney star Brenda Song amid rumours she is pregnant

Miley Cyrus' big brother Trace has gotten engaged.

The 22-year-old popped the question to Disney star Brenda Song amid unconfirmed rumours she is pregnant.

Trace revealed the news on his Twitter page and says he is delighted to be tying the knot.

'I am excited to say, last week I asked my girlfriend Brenda Song to marry me and she said YES! We are both very excited to be engaged!' the former frontman of rock band Metro Station gushed.
The 23-year old star of Suite Life of Zack & Cody was seen out yesterday wearing a large engagement ring.
And it seems that Miley is happy to be expanding her family network.
'@TraceCyrus can't wait for Brenda to be a Cyrus :) couldn't be more excited about my 'sister in law to be' yay :),' Miley posted on her Twitter page.

Although no wedding date has yet been announced by the couple there has been continued speculation that Brenda is expecting their first child.
However Brenda's mother, Mai Song, reportedly told Star magazine that her daughter is 'actually not pregnant'.
Earlier this week Brenda posted a cryptic Twitter message although it is unclear if she was referring to her impending engagement or pregnancy.
'My stomach is full of excitement! Big plans... big plans. You'll soon see,' she wrote on October 12.

The couple have been dating for a year and a half and actress's career appears to be going from strength to strength.
Brenda is best known for playing socialite London Tipton on the Disney sitcom as well as the show's spin off The Suite Life on Deck and The Suite Life Movie.
She branched out into movies and landed a role in the Oscar-winning film The Social Network where she played the girlfriend of Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin.
Trace is currently working on an album with his band Ashland HIGH.
