X-Factor’s Kitty worked as honeytrap. Pictures

X Factor hopeful Kitty Brucknell used to work as a ‘honeytrap’, attempting to catch out cheating husbands. The aspiring singer – who wowed judges with her a cappella version of Lady Gaga’s The Edge of Glory to secure a place in the Boot Camp stage of the competition on Saturday (20.08.11) – reportedly earned £10 an hour by working for an agency which offers services to “test the loyalty of your partner”.
Kitty’s job involved her flirting with men to try and get them to kiss or touch her, which would then be documented by hidden cameras, with evidence send back to their partners, who paid up to £2,000 to the agency Executive Honeytraps. Dalbir Virdee, 37, met Kitty through the agency after his wife paid to find out if he would cheat on her, and used photos of them together in her 2008 divorce case.
He told The Sun newspaper: “She’s a deceitful liar and tried to ruin my life. “I got approached on Facebook by a girl calling herself Kim, who said she thought I was good looking.
They arranged a meeting at a bar in central London, where Dalbir admitted he felt something suspicious was going on. He added: “I had a feeling I was being set up. We had champagne, which she spilled down her front. I realise it was a ploy to get me to rub it off her.
“She said she felt unwell and did this sort of pretend swoon. When I leaned over to help her, she quickly planted a kiss on my mouth. She was very flirtatious and kept trying to get me in positions where I would touch her.
“She made out she was a model but I could tell she wasn’t.”
