Who will be victorious in the box-office?! We shall see - next year.
Mark your calendars. On Dec. 21, 2012, two of Hollywood's heavyweight hunks will go head-to-head in theaters, each vying for your holiday cash to go towards their mega movie.
In this corner, at 5' 11 and 47 years of age, we have Brad Pitt, whose zombie thriller World War Z will open four days before Christmas. Fans of Brad and zombies alike will surely be lining up for days for this flick and the buzz around production is that Brad is very much on his game.
But in this corner, at 5'10 and 48 years of age, we have Johnny Depp in one of the most highly anticipated flicks to be coming out of the House of Mouse in recent years, The Lone Ranger. After several up-and-downs, the movie is finally going into production and people are so amped up about it, even without knowing a single plot detail, no one can shut up about it!
So who will win the weekend? Who will give their studio the best Christmas present of the season - millions of dollars in gross? Then again, does it even really matter…
The week before Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey opens and we all know there'll be no beating that juggernaut.
