'X Factor': Kelly Rowland 'not fussed' about Amelia Lily win

X Factor judge Kelly Rowland has been accused of failing to support her act Amelia Lily.

Sources claim that the 'Down For Whatever' star was reluctant to join the singer on her homecoming tour of Middlesbrough on Wednesday (December 7) and is "not too fussed" about her losing out at this weekend's Wembley Arena final.

X Factor finalist Amelia Lily returns to her hometown of Middlesborough with her mentor Kelly Rowland. Amelia played a small gig at The Empire Theatre

"Kelly couldn't hide the fact she didn't want to be in Middlesbrough and seemed to spend most of her time in a hotel," a family friend of Lily told The Mirror.

"Amelia was out all day trying to drum up support while Kelly was nowhere to be seen. The feeling is she's not too fussed about what happens and doesn't really want Amelia to win."

According to a show source, Rowland also fears that Lily winning after she chose to eliminate her in the first live show would undermine her credibility.

"Kelly seems to feel embarrassed about the situation," they claimed. "She dumped Amelia, so what would it say about her expert opinion if that girl goes on to win the whole competition? It would probably be easier for her if she doesn't win."

Rowland's spokesperson responded to the claims by saying: "She is working outside of the show, but that is because she has got an album to promote. She is the only judge who has that.

"But she is completely committed to Amelia, is working hard with her, and wants her to win."

The former Destiny's Child singer this week said that the public want "to prove [her] wrong" for originally eliminating Lily.

Rowland and Lily are rumoured to be performing a duet of Ike and Tina Turner's 'River Deep, Mountain High' at the X Factor final.

The X Factor final will begin at 8pm on Saturday on ITV1.
