Keira Knightley and Jude Law confirmed for Anna Karenina movie

 

Keira Knightley and Jude Law have been announced as the stars in a film adaptation of Anna Karenina.
Oscar-winning writer Tom Stoppard will write the script, while Atonement film-maker Joe Wright will direct it.
The film is based on the epic, romantic novel by Leo Tolstoy. Knightley will play Anna, a married woman who has an affair with a young soldier. Law will play the role of Anna's husband, Aleksei Karenin. Aaron Johnson will play Count Vronsky.
The movie is set to hit the big screen next year. It will be Knightley's third collaboration with Wright. She starred in his 2005 film adaptation of Pride And Prejudice, as well as his Academy Award-winning movie Atonement two years later.
