Settling a domestic disagreement

Mel Gibson agreed Wednesday to pay out $750,000 to his former girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, over the next five years, People reports. Grigorieva, 41, also gets to continue living in a Los Angeles home that belongs to the actor, 55. The couple will share 50-50 custody of their daughter, Lucia. Thus ends one of the ugliest tabloid dust-ups in recent memory, which kicked off when Grigorieva accused Gibson of domestic assault in 2010. The whole debacle culminated in the release, by Grigorieva, of several not-very-flattering tapes that featured an enraged, panting Gibson bellowing obscenities and abuses.

That’s the last anybody will have to, or even be able to, hear from either of them about the matter. Also under the deal: The parties are not allowed to publicly discuss each other or their relationship. Specifically, they cannot write books about each other.
The agreement settles a civil lawsuit that Grigorieva’s attorney had threatened to bring against Gibson over the alleged assault. Gibson settled the matter in criminal court last March, by pleading no contest to misdemeanor battery.

"We haven't finalised it and I don't want to give anything away. We've kind of been hunkering down with what the show is going to look like and what will be in it, but we will be reaching out [to the Glee team] very, very soon."

The 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards will air on September 18 on Fox.

'The Voice' judge Adam Levine: "I'm not a fan of singing competitions"

Adam Levine in The Voice

Adam Levine has confessed that he is "not a fan" of musical reality shows.

The Maroon 5 frontman and The Voice judge said that the NBC competition differs from similar programmes as it is based on "positive reinforcement" rather than 'mocking' critique.

Levine told The Huffington Post in an interview: "I'm not a fan of singing competitions. I never have been. But there was something that rang true with The Voice. It's just a very sincere, honest show where we were allowed to speak our minds and be ourselves and help people along - in a real way.

"No one is being teased; no one is being mocked. It's all about positive reinforcement. We're dealing with a bunch of people who are all really talented to begin with."

Levine also rebuffed rumours that he and fellow coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton did not get along behind the scenes.

"I love everyone I work with, and I think that really shows. All the drama is kind of beneath us. We're not trying to create stupid tension on the show. Any tension that we produced was all fabricated. We all liked each other," the 'Moves Like Jagger' rocker insisted.

Brown to Give Birth This Week

Former Spice Girls star Melanie Brown is facing an induced labour after her doctor ruled she must give birth this week (ends04Sep11).

The singer-turned-TV personality is so close to having her third child she's desperately trying every trick possible to help kick-start the delivery.
She told her Twitter.com fans last week (begs22Aug11), "OK, I have walked, had a hot curry, a bit of 'you no what' (sex), cried at a movie, bounced up and down on (a) work out ball, Still no labour, any ideas?" She tells Australia's Kyle and Jackie O Show, "I just had my doctor on the phone and he's given me some ultimatums which are good. "It's coming out this week, one way or another it's coming out this week.
It's called epidural and pain relievers! "Ideally I want it to come naturally, but I've tried everything. And itjust seems to be stuck and hibernating in there getting bigger and bigger, so it's coming out this week for sure".

More Chart Records for Perry

 Katy Perry

Katy Perry has landed another chart record in America after becoming the first artist in the 15-year history of Billboard's Adult Pop Songs chart to land four number ones from the same album.
Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) has jumped up a spot to number one on the new countdown to give her the record.
California Gurls, Teenage Dream and Firework also hit the top spot fromthe Teenage Dream album, while a fifth single, E.T., made it to number two.
Only rockers Daughtry and Nickelback have come close to Perry's record - the two groups have scored three number ones from the same albums.
Earlier this month (Aug11), Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) landed atop the Billboard Hot 100 mainstream chart, giving her a fifth number one from the same album.
She now shares that feat with Michael Jackson, who managed the high five in 1987 and 1988 with hits from Bad.
And the five singles from Teenage Dream have also topped Billboard's Pop Songs chart, making the album the only release in that countdown's 19-year history to boast the feat.

Britney Spears 'thankful to father' for saving her life

 Britney-Spears-thankful-to-father-for-saving-her-life

Britney Spears reportedly believes her father saved her life.

The American singer had a public meltdown in 2008, when she shaved her head and attacked a car with an umbrella. She was put under a 5150 involuntary psychiatric hold after refusing to hand over her children, Sean Preston now five, and Jayden James, who is four.

Britney's father Jamie Spears stepped in and arranged for her to be put under a conservatorship. It meant he and several others took control of her personal and professional affairs, and Britney feels the legislation helped her overcome her issues.

'Britney now recognises that if her father hadn't stepped in and taken the action that he had, well... Britney is now crediting Jamie for saving her life,' a source told RadarOnline. 'Britney is on top of the world right now. She is getting ready for the next leg of her world tour, which will be on September 22 in Moscow. Her father will be with her for some of the European performances, along with her mom.'

Britney was honoured with the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) on Sunday night. A number of dancers dressed in some of her iconic costumes ' such as the red catsuit featured in her Oops!... I Did It Again music promo ' and performed dance moves. Britney was seen laughing and pointing, although backstage she's said to have become emotional.

'Britney's relationship with her dad is in a very, very good place now. She was extremely emotional backstage before leaving for the VMAs and kept telling her daddy how much she loves him,' the insider added.

Receiving the accolade was particularly gratifying for the star as she was critically panned when she performed at the ceremony three years ago.

A hearing about the singer's conservatorship will take place today so financial details can be discussed. It's thought the arrangement will stay in place for a while longer, with speculation Britney may regain control of some of her affairs next year.

't's likely that Britney's business affairs will still remain under control of the conservatorship though, even if they determine that she no longer needs it for herself personally. The idea is that this will be a gradual transition for Britney to return to her life, on her own,' the source added.

Britney's boyfriend Jason Trawick is said to be delighted with her progress. There's been intense speculation the pair are planning to wed.

'f the conservatorship is lifted off Britney personally, well, it makes it a lot easier for Jason to propose. He doesn't want her to feel pressured, it will happen when the time is right,' the insider added.

A Star Is Born filming pushed back after Beyoncé announces pregnancy

Delay: Filming of A Star Is Born could be pushed back after Beyoncé announced she is expecting her first child with husband Jay-Z

Filming on Beyoncé's new movie A Star Is Born has had to be pushed back after the singer revealed she is expecting her first child.
Clint Eastwood's musical remake had been due to start shooting in February 2012, but insiders on the film told Deadline Hollywood that Warner Bros 'could push' the start date on the film.
It is also claimed the delay to the start of shooting will give them longer to find a suitable leading man after Eastwood failed to convince Leonardo DiCaprio to sign on.

Single Ladies hitmaker Beyoncé will take on the role previously held by Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland in the 1976 and 1954 adaptations, and Janet Gaynor in the 1937 original.
She will play up and coming starlet Esther Blodgett, later Vicki Lester, who falls for a has-been rockstar.
Beyoncé proved her acting chops in Oscar-winning musical Dreamgirls in 2006, as well as portraying Etta James in Cadillac Records.
The 29-year-old singer announced at last night's MTV VMA Awards that she and husband Jay-Z are expecting their first child together.
Congratulations: Kelly Rowland, who was in Destiny's Child with Beyonce and Michelle Williams, came forward to publicly offer her friend congratulations

And today her former Destiny's Child bandmate Kelly Rowland came forward to publicly congratulate her friend.
She told America's People magazine: 'I have known for quite a while, and she's happy, and Jay is happy, and that's all that counts.

'I think she'll be an incredible mother, because she's always been motherly. I think that she takes after so many traits from her mother. And I just think it's going to be so natural for her. Its natural for her now!'
Last night Beyoncé debuted her baby bump in an orange Lanvin gown and told the assembled press: 'I have a surprise!'
And the singer didn't let her pregnancy prevent her from bringing the house down with an energetic performance.
She cheered on Jay-Z, who performed new single Otis with Kanye West, before taking to the stage herself.
Arriving onstage in a purple glittery blazer and black trousers by Dolce & Gabbana, the mother-to-be said: 'I want you to feel the love that's growing inside of me.'
Content: The singer glowed with happiness

After a fabulous performance of Love On Top that attracted a standing ovation from the audience, Beyoncé ripped open her jacket and proudly rubbed her baby bump.
The cameras panned to the audience where Jay-Z was beaming, as his friend Kanye jumped up and down, smacking the father-to-be on the back and shaking him.
Beyoncé performed at the Roseland Ballroom in New York on August 14, and covered up her stomach with a sheath of fabric that draped lightly across her protruding bump.

The announcement comes after a stellar summer for the Grammy-winner in which she headlined Glastonbury and released another hit album, 4.
Beyoncé, who has won 16 Grammy awards, said in a recent  interview that she feels she has achieved enough in her career to settle down and make family a priority.
'When you're young - 18 or 19 - you have the energy and drive. That's the time to work as hard as you can,' she told the September issue of In Style.
Congratulations! Jay-Z beamed from the audience while Kanye West thumped his friend on the back

'Now I'm a woman, and because I gave it my all, I can focus on my marriage.

'I can decide I want to have kids. I can be the mother I want to be and dedicate myself to my children.'
Beyoncé married rapper Jay-Z on September 4, 2008 in New York.

Speaking to Piers Morgan in June, she hinted: 'I always said I was going to have a baby at 30. I'm 29 now.

'But I also said I was going to retire at 30. So I don't know,' she said, adding: 'I am not retiring, I tell you.'

Pressed by Morgan she said: 'Only God knows, only God knows.'

Jessie Wallace's fiancé 'sent ex-girlfriend explicit pictures of actress': New claims emerge 24 hours before their wedding

Jessie Wallace's fiancé Vincent Morse has allegedly sent his ex-girlfriend an explicit picture of the soap actress.
Caterer Morse is accused of emailing a shocking photo of the EastEnders star to Karen Short in an apparent bid to lure her into bed earlier this month.
Morse is said to have accompanied the picture of Wallace, which showed her wearing a black basque and stockings, with the caption: 'This is what you will get x'.
New claims: It was reported today that Jessie Wallace's fiancé Vincent Morse sent an explicit photo of her to his ex-girlfriend
New claims: It was reported today that Jessie Wallace's fiancé Vincent Morse sent an explicit photo of her to his ex-girlfriend

The shocking new claims have emerged just 24 hours before Wallace and Morse were set to tie the knot in a £300,000 star-studded ceremony this afternoon.
Businesswoman Short, who dated Morse for three years before the pair ended their relationship in 2005, claimed in the Daily Star Sunday newspaper that she had spent the night with Morse in December - when he was dating Wallace - and the pair have been exchanging texts and emails ever since.
She said: 'Vince and I met up as recently as December - I had no idea about Jessie. We spent the night together at a hotel.
'I was absolutely shocked. When I received the explicit photograph of Jessie from Vince last month I felt really uncomfortable. The photo was sent with the accompanying caption, "this is what you will get x".

'I rang Vince and asked him what he was playing at but he has a way of turning things around – he can be very manipulative.
'It was typical Vince. He is a risk-taker and definitely has a dark side.'
Short also alleged that Morse had emailed her on several occasions, as recently as August 5th, saying that he was having doubts about whether or not he could go through with the wedding.
One of the first emails apparently read: 'The last few weeks have taken their toll. Have not been together all week got back yesterday and she went nuts. I think I’m really done with the whole thing.'

After being comforted by Short, Morse then replied: 'I know let’s run away? X.
'To be honest I need a couple of days away with someone fun and sexy xxxx.
'As of a week ago it’s really been off but I’m only just admitting it to myself now xxx.'
Short has now warned Wallace not to marry Morse, adding: 'Don't do it, take some time and find out who you are marrying.'
These shocking new claims have emerged just weeks after a clearly smitten Wallace and Morse posed up at their engagement party, and the 39-year-old actress admitted her love for the caterer.
Wallace, who has been engaged three times, said at the time: 'Vince is my Mr Right. There’s been a huge gap in my life and I’ve had relationships but there was always something missing. If not one thing, loads of things missing. But Vince has got everything I’ve been looking for.
'I knew literally straight away I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.
'I do believe there’s one person out there for you and the more time we spend together the closer we become, it’s like we’re one person. I never thought I’d see the day when I got married. I’ve never been this happy with a man before.'
Wallace's spokesperson said the actress was unavailable for comment today.

Justin Bieber Brings Pet Snake to VMAs

Some stars bring their significant other, others bring their siblings or even their parents. Proving he marches to the beat of his own drum, Justin Bieber brought none other than his pet snake Johnson! Find out more after the jump!

Considering his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, conducted pre-show interviews for MTV, it was only natural that she interviewed the Biebs. According to RadarOnline she stated, “I’m here with the one-and-only Justin Bieber. Who are you wearing? Can you please talk about that?”
To which point the Biebs replied and showed his reptile friend in his hand, ”I have my snake. I have red pants and cheetah shoes.” Selena asked about the snake’s name and he mentioned the name is Johnson.

Then onward to more serious matters, she asked, “You’re up for Best Male Video. I wanna know, you’re up against Eminem and Bruno Mars. Do you feel a little nervous at all?”
As for his response, Justin said, “You know, I’m just excited to be in the category with such amazing people. I’m just happy to be here.” As they dished a little more and he added he was excited to see Beyonce, he leaned over to kiss her cheek as she stated, “Thank you so much. Thank you for hanging out, babe.”

Honoring Aaliyah on the 10th Anniversary of Her Untimely Death

Tragically on August 25, 2001, at the age of 22, R&B singer, songwriter and aspiring actress Aaliyah Dana Haughton, was killed. Aaliyah, known worldwide by her single moniker, perished in a plane crash off the Bahamas after filming the video for the Hype Williams-directed "Rock the Boat," a single from her third, self-titled album.
A decade later, the music world still feels the ache, sadness, and vacancy left by the beautiful, incandescent and talented young angel’s shocking and untimely death. Aaliyah's career was aglow, and she was on the path to superstardom, paving the way for today’s young female chart toppers like Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and others.
Aaliyah, whose first name means “exalted” in Arabic, dropped her first album Age Ain’t Nothing but a Number at the tender age of 14. Her introduction to the music scene was produced by mega-selling R&B crooner R. Kelly. The musical duo were rumored to have married when Aaliyah was barely 15 and Kelly was over 27.
The scandal surrounding the marriage issue was brought front and center when hip-hop magazine Vibe ran a story based on a single document.  Vibe declared that Aaliyah and R. Kelly had secretly tied the knot summer of 1994 in Rosemont, Illinois. In spite of Vibe’s article, there has been substantial information to the contrary stating that Aaliyah and R. Kelly had in fact never tied the knot.
For her sophomore outing, 1996’s One in a Million, the Brooklyn-born, Detroit-raised sensation collaborated with then musical unknowns Missy Elliot and Timbaland. Elliot and Timbaland were just getting started in the highly competitive producing and songwriting market. Shortly after One in a Million scored double-platinum, Elliot and Timbaland became hot commodities as a collaborative force and as solo hit makers, but Aaliyah was their musical muse and pairing, with her atributed to the status they acheived.
Aaliyah was the voice behind the flirty, fluid, heart-stirring and sexy hits, "We Need Resolution," "Back and Forth," "Try Again," "One in a Million" and "Are You that Somebody" (from the blockbuster Eddie Murphy film Dr.Dolittle).  Aaliyah uncovered another layer in her skillful arsenal by revealing and showcasing her acting chops in 2000’s Romeo Must Die and as a vampire queen in Anne Rice’s best-selling novel turned movie, 2002’s Queen of the Damned. Aaliyah was signed on to join the cast of the two Matrix sequels before her unexpected passing.

X Factor 2011: Your verdict on tonight’s show

X Factor 2011: Your verdict on tonight’s show
Another Saturday night, and another night of X Factor craziness! We had flirting and blushing, all thanks to Kelly Rowland. A marriage proposal that made us feel all warm and fuzzy. Two very surprised parents, crying boy band members, and blubfest sob story. Oh, and there was some singing, too.
The show got off to a flying start with the incredibly sweet and likeable Johnny. The 45-year-old gave us a bit of a Su-Bo moment, we automatically assumed he’d be a bit crap but he amazed us and the judges with a unique voice. We can’t see him making the live finals, but maybe the show will help the single singer find someone to share his bedsit with.

Next we came over a bit teary and fuzzy when with a mid-audition marriage proposal. Soooo cute.

Romance seemed to well and truly be in the air – and everyone was feeling the love for Kelly. 20-year-old Derry flirted with the Destiny’s Child judge and seemed happier about getting a kiss from his dream woman than he did about getting four yeses.

The flirting wasn’t over though, as Kelly got all hot and bothered when auditionee Perry lifted up his shirt to reveal a perfect six-pack.

We loved biscuit factory worker Craig, who shocked his parents by rocking up on stage and wowing the audience and judges with his version of Adele’s Hiding My Heart. Anyone else think that Craig had a similar voice to BGT’s Michael Collings?

Our favourite toe-curlingly bad audition of the night belonged to The Duos, who, after comparing themselves to Beyonce and Jay-Z droned along to If I Were A Boy. They were soooooo bad.

We also enjoyed the montage of deeply terrible group auditions – we had to watch with a pillow close by so we could silently scream into it when things got too dire. So thank goodness for The Keys. We can deffo see them making it to the judges’ houses at least.

The X Factor left us feeling a little weepy, ending the show with 19-year-old Misha. We thought she rocked, but did YOU think? In fact, what did you think of all the acts we saw tonight? Chat away in the comments box below.....

X Factor newbie Tulisa Contostavlos: Don’t judge me!

 Tulisa Contostavlos | copies |Cheryl Cole | X Factor | launch

Cheryl Cole's shoes were always going to be hard to fill, but Tulisa Contostavlos says it was only at boot camp that she felt accepted.
‘On my first day, it was as if I was being judged by the nation rather than being a judge,' she says.
‘But now I'm getting to meet the contestants and it all feels real.'
The N-Dubz star, 23, won over any remaining doubters on last week's show when she remained calm despite being bombarded with sickening abuse.
George Gerasimou, 19, turned on Tulisa after his failed audition, ranting: ‘If I knew dogs were allowed, I'd have brought my Alsatian along.'
Asked why she didn't punch him, Tulisa says: ‘Two years ago I would have.
'But I'm an X Factor judge now and I'm not allowed to!'

Louis Walsh denies cosmetic surgery claims

Louis Walsh denies cosmetic surgery claimsLouis Walsh is back on our screens in The X Factor, and while he’s scrutinising the singing talents of all the wannabe pop stars auditioning, it would seem the whole country is scrutinising his face.

Since t
he new series of The X Factor kicked off, there’s been lots of speculation that Louis has had some help to look more youthful. Fans have suggested that Louis has a smoother brow, implying that the 59-year-old Westlife manager has had botox. However, Louis has denied the surgery claoms saying, "Other than my eyes, it's all natural."

If you remember, back in 2009 Louis did undergo surgery on his eyes to remove bags and smooth out some wrinkles. But pals of Louis’ back up the talent show judge’s claims that he’s definitely not had any work done, telling The Mirror, “The truth is he keeps himself in great shape.”

As well as the eye bag surgery, Louis had of course had his teeth fixed (we think Simon Cowell puts a dental clause in all X Factor judges’ contracts).

She swears she isn't a diva, but Kelly Rowland certainly has expensive tastes - she's splashed out a whopping £50,000 on new outfits for The X Factor.

And the 30-year-old reckons her wardrobe budget's even bigger than Tulisa Contostavlos's.

The former Destiny's Child star says: ‘How much did I spend on my X Factor outfits?

'A lot! Definitely more than £20,000. I'd say more than £50,000.

'I just love nice clothes and I've been wearing heels since I was a kid.'

Child Actress Sybil Jason Dead at 83

Story photo: Child Actress Sybil Jason Dead at 83

Sybil Jason, Warner Bros.' answer to Fox's Shirley Temple in the '30s died Tuesday in Northridge, Calif., of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, according to the Washington Post.

Jason was born in South Africa and played the British vaudeville circuit before her time in Hollywood. Her film credits include 1935's The Singing Kid, in which she performed alongside Al Jolson, and Little Big Shot (also 1935). Though her popularity never eclipsed her supposed rival's, she did appear opposite of Temple in two pictures: 1939's The Little Princess and 1940's The Blue Bird, which turned out to be Jason's final film. The child stars remained friends even after leaving the motion-picture industry.

My Big Fat Gypsy sleepover: Sally Bercow accepts new best friend Paddy Doherty's invitation to stay with his family

She may be out of the Celebrity Big Brother now, but her time in the house was not wasted.
In fact, Sally Bercow has made such a good friend in My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding star Paddy Doherty that he has invited her to meet his family and stay with them.
Sally, who was evicted from the house last night, was shown on the programme tonight saying that she felt she had a real bond with the Irish fighter.
Talking to Paddy outside, Sally told him: 'The thing I'm most grateful in this house is meeting you, Paddy.'

Come stay with me! Paddy invited Sally to come and meet his wife and children and to stay the night, an invitation she accepted

When Paddy said that he wanted Sally to meet his wife and children, Sally replied: 'I want to come up and see your world, Paddy.'
And when Paddy insisted to Sally that she needed to stay a night to get the full effect of his world, she replied: 'I'd love to stay a night, I'd really love to.'
Sally also admitted she had found it difficult to be by herself during her time in the house. She told Paddy: 'It's quite weird for me being amongst all these people and still feeling lonely. I'm not usually lonely on my own, I like my own company, so it's weird.'
BFFs: The pair struck up an unusual friendship during their time together while Sally was in the house
Last night was Sally's last in the Big Brother house as she became the first to be evicted.
But, after she had left the house, the housemates, including her new best friend Paddy, were quick to express their sorrow that she had gone.
Paddy said: 'Sally was a nice woman. my heart is in the right place. her husband is her life to her and her children are her life to her but she's a nice, nice woman, honest to God she is.'
Darryn Lyons added: 'She had an incredible amount of fortitude to do what she did and I admire her for that.'

And Kerry Katona, who nominated Sally for eviction, said: 'I was really getting to know sally and the more I got to know her, the more I was starting to like her.'
Tonight's Celebrity Big Brother showed that while Irish twins Jedward are still grating on some of the housemates' nerves, it is actually Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff who is causing the most problems.
The arguments began when Darryn started rowing with Pamela for interrupting him while he was attempting to figure out how the house should spend their £500 shopping budget, a treat for passing this week's Wizard Of Oz task.

Cuddling up: Lucien Laviscount and Kerry Katona shared a joke as they sat on the sofas
This is how you do it: Bobby instructed Jedward in how to correctly shave
After Darryn shouted at her to be quiet while she was asking him to put cigarettes on the list, Pamela went to the Diary Room to complain about his attitude.
She explained: 'Darryn can be distant. I just keep smiling and being nice to him, there's nothing else to do. That little curve in your smile hopefully starts to straighten everything out.'
But after speaking to her daughter Hayley on her birthday, Pamela's mood seemed to lift, and she gave Darryn a hug as she left the Diary Room following the call.
What a diva: Amy admitted she gets sent loads of free clothes and make-up
Later on though, Tara complained to Kerry that she was getting annoyed with Pamela's attitude, and said that Pamela was bringing down the mood in the house.
The arguments continued further when Pamela and Lucien disagreed over a pack of cigarettes left for the house by Sally.
When Lucien offered Pamela a cigarette from the pack, she got angry with him, and said that she had been giving him cigarettes all week.
And when Lucien tried to explain that he was just having a joke with Darryn over the pack, Pamela wouldn't listen to him, cutting him off and refusing to let him finish his explanation.
Bathtime: Kerry was in charge of babysitting John and Edward so they didn't get into troubleBut while most of the attention was on Pamela's antics, Jedward were still succeeding in rubbing some of their housemates up the wrong way.
Struggling with boredom, the twins came to the Diary Room to complain to Big Brother.
They said: 'They sleep all day and they drink all night. We'd rather be awake during the day and asleep during the night.'
Arguments: Pamela is not proving a hit with many of the housemates, including Tara Reid and Lucien

So, to relieve the boredom, the dastardly duo came up with a series of pastimes to keep themselves occupied.
But the rest of the housemates had obviously realised that when the pair are left alone, they get up to no good, so mother-of-four Kerry was assigned as babysitter for the day.
However, her presence didn't stop the siblings messing around, with Edward spilling water all over the floor with his energetic bathtime.

As the boys cleaned up their mess, John asked Edward if it had been worth it, to which Edward replied: 'Totally, it was completely worth it, and more.'
The programme also showed The Only Way Is Essex star Amy Childs set a secret task to drop five William Shakespeare quotes into conversations with her fellow housemates to win alcohol for the house that evening.
After admitting she had 'no idea' what any of the quotes meant, Amy attempted to casually mention them but raised suspicions with her sudden affinity with the Bard.
But she told Bobby: 'I really like William Shakespeare, my favourite book is Romeo and Juliet.'
However, Amy later admitted in the Diary Room: 'I just don't get Shakespeare. I tried to watch Romeo and Juliet but had to turn it off after five minutes because I didn't understand it - random.'

Kelly, who has been in Miami filming ABC's remake of Charlie's Angels, was cheering alongside Jeter's family last month at Yankee Stadium when the shortstop got his 3,000th hit.

The couple, who tried to keep a low profile, were often the subject of engagement rumors and reluctant to talk about their relationship.

Mel Gibson and ex-girlfriend reach settlement of bitter dispute

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Mel Gibson and his ex-girlfriend have reached a financial and custody settlement of a bitter dispute that spawned a criminal case and left the Academy Award winner's reputation damaged.

Los Angeles Superior Court officials said in a statement late Friday that Gibson and Russian musician Oksana Grigorieva had reached a settlement after days of negotiation. Terms and conditions of the settlement were not announced, but a hearing Wednesday will be held to discuss financial arrangements.

The equally contentious issue of custody of the couple's infant daughter will be handled in closed session, the court announced.

Gibson's spokesman Alan Nierob confirmed the settlement and said the actor-director appreciated the judge's help in mediating the case.

Raw Video: Father and son watch surfers near Cocoa Beach Pier

Grigorieva spokesman Stephen Jaffe had no immediate comment.

The former couple have sparred for more than a year over custody and financial issues in a mostly-secret court proceeding in Los Angeles.

The "Braveheart" star was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery as a result of a January 2010 fight with Grigorieva and pleaded no contest earlier this year. The actor-director entered his plea in a way in which he admitted no guilt, and Grigorieva cannot use the outcome in a civil case.

The case became an international story after recordings of racist and sexist rants by Gibson were leaked to the celebrity website RadarOnline.com. Sheriff's officials took possession of the recordings as part of their criminal investigation, but Grigorieva's attorney announced in May that he would no longer seek to use them against the former Hollywood superstar in the custody case.
