We've seen Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2! OMG!

We've seen Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2! OMG!

It’s all anyone’s talking about (if you don’t count that big newspaper scandal going on at the moment) – and last night, heatworld finally got to see the exciting last part of the Harry Potter series. We went in expecting big things – and we’ll tell you now, we didn’t come out disappointed.

Having followed, reviewed, interviewed the stars and generally loved Harry Potter and his adventures for the last ten years – we were very sad to be walking into the cinema for the final time (almost as sad as poor Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were on Thursday - just look at the picture above!). But by goodness within just a few minutes we’d forgotten everything in the outside world and was utterly gripped by what was going on on-screen.
Now obviously we won’t spoil it for you – you have to see it for yourselves. But we will say, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint absolutely shine in this film. And if you don't come out fancying Rupert (Ron) a little, we'll be very surprised.
But even more excitingly, it’s Matthew Lewis (who plays geeky Neville Longbottom) who actually steals the show. Coming into his own with his lovable character Neville, Matthew most certainly leaves his mark (and has probably opened some amazing career doors for himself with his performance) – and he told us at the premiere just how excited he is to be given the chance to show off his talents with such force. Matthew said, “This is for anyone who was the weak one at school. For anyone who felt like they couldn't achieve what they wanted to. I feel honoured that JK Rowling thought I was good enough to play the part of such a strong character like Neville. I'm so proud to play him." Aw, bless him!

Our favourite Harry Potter behind-the-scenes story of the week though came from Ralph Fiennes who plays the mighty Voldermort. The actor joked at the cast's official press conference about wearing tights as a part of his costume. He revealed, “The gusset kept dropping down between my thighs and this made it very difficult to walk with any kind of dignity. Eventually I said to my dresser, 'You're going to have to cut these tights and I'm going to have garters at the top'. So I enjoyed having this garter belt on each leg. After that, if the props team got too macho, I would just show them my inner thigh.” Amazing, we can just see it now, the handsome Ralph strutting about flashing some inner thigh at the crew!
So, tell us, are you excited about seeing The Deathly Hallows Part 2? And have you already booked your tickets for opening night? Make sure you check out our full review of the film in Tuesday’s issue of heat magazine. Actually we might just go see it again… it’s that good!
