Celebrity Big Brother 2011: Kerry Katona signs £250,000 deal to go into BB house!

 

The People today reports that reality TV star Kerry Katona has signed a contract worth a staggering £250,000 to go into this year’s new Celebrity Big Brother house.
The paper reports that following a lunch date with Channel 5 executives, Kerry signed up on condition they would offer her enough money to clear her debts, and they have done.
Insiders say Channel 5 bosses are hoping Kerry will talk about her battles with booze and drugs, as well as her two “car-crash marriages” during the four-week show.
A friend of Kerry’s told The People, “She is totally up for Big Brother, she can’t believe her luck.
“This has come at the right time as the money will get her out of a deep hole.
“She’s so skint she cant even get a contract for a mobile phone.”


Kerry recently claimed that she was down to her last £400 and that she owed her ex-management company Can Associates £350,000.
Back in 2009, Kerry was signed up to go into the BB house, but she failed the show’s stringent psychiatric tests.
The friend added, “She’s sorted her life out now. She might be broke, but she’s got her head straight. The tests should be no problem.”
And the paper’s show insider added, “She’ll be great fun in the BB house, but you suspect bosses secretly hope she’ll have a meltdown.”
