A man accused of stalking Halle Berry was arrested on Monday night while trying to trespass onto her property.
Berry had alerted authorities last weekend after spotting a man "lurking around" her front garden. The man escaped arrest at the time.
Police were able to take the alleged stalker into custody late on Monday when Berry's neighbours spotted him in the neighbourhood once again.
Authorities transported the suspect to their local precinct, where he was identified as 27-year-old Richard Franco, law enforcement sources told Entertainment Tonight.
Franco currently remains in police custody and is being booked on two felony stalking charges.
A police rep said that a bail fee is still to be determined, but will likely be substantial.
Berry was previously forced to hire extra security in 2007 when another apparent stalker threatened the life of her then-unborn daughter Nahla.
