It was reported yesterday that Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole are planning to launch a new joint TV venture later this year, however sources close to the pair have rubbished the rumours.
The pair reportedly started talking again, afters months of a stand off following the music mogul’s sacking of the Girls Aloud singer from X Factor USA. Insiders had claimed that after she turned down the peace offering of a job on Britain’s Got Talent, Cowell was desperate to work with the Promise This hitmaker again and so was planning a new talent show, in which she would play a major role.
However, The Sun today claims that while the famous duo are indeed on more friendly terms at the minute they are not planning to work together any time soon.
An insider said:
“Simon and Cheryl have been in touch for a while. He would work with her again, but there are no secret plans at the moment.”
The pair are reportedly planning to meet for a catch up, when Cowell returns to London this month, to start off the auditions for Britain’s Got Talent 2012.
