Brian McFadden engaged to Vogue Williams after eight months

 

Brian McFadden doesn't hang about, does he? The Irish pop star has revealed he popped the question to his DJ girlfriend of eight months Vogue Williams, after splitting from Delta Goodrem last April.

He admitted to OK! Australia: "It's early (to be engaged) when you think about how long we've been together, but not when you consider the amount of time we've spent together… we've literally spent every second of every day together for eight months now."

The former Westlife member met Vogue in their native Ireland just after he and Delta released a statement on April 1 last year announcing their separation. They had been engaged for three years.
This time, though, Brian's doing things differently, and says he really does plan to marry. Really.
Speaking about his lengthy engagement with Delta, he said: "I never really planned to get married then. Vogue and I are actually setting a date and we're actually getting married."

They plan to get married in Europe this year, after Brian (who was previously married to Kerry Katona) proposed to Vogue while he was on tour with Stevie Nicks in November.

Brian tweeted a picture of Vogue with the caption: "My beautiful wife to be" and joked: "Ill have to invite all my followers to the wedding. Well have to get married in central park."
So what does Delta make of all this, then?

Brian said: "We've let (our exes) know out of respect. They both went 'Great, as long as you're happy' because they're both happy as well and have moved on. We don't have any nasty 'ex' animosity with our recent partners."

Delta is now dating Nick Jonas. We wonder if she'll do a Kylie and tweet congratulations. Hmmm.
