Channing Tatum plays penis prank on Rachel McAdams

 

Channing Tatum shocked Rachel McAdams by sporting a fake penis on the set of their latest movie.

The ‘Vow’ co-stars were shooting a scene where Rachel’s character – who has lost her memory – sees her husband, played by Channing, naked and the actor decided to play a practical joke on Rachel by having the props department make a huge prosthetic penis for him to wear.

Rachel told Stella magazine: “Channing got the props department to make a prosthetic member. Literally a fake penis. I didn’t know what to do. I thought, ‘Is this the real deal?’ It was very realistic. It was ridiculous, the scale of it.”

Rachel, 33 – who lives in Toronto - is currently dating British actor and her ‘Midnight In Paris’ co-star Michael Sheen and admitted they have to make a huge effort to make their long-distance relationship work.

She explained: “Michael and I never spend more than three weeks apart – we rack up a lot of air miles – but you have to be quite adaptable in this business whether you are in a relationship or not. Trying to establish roots somewhere is a bit of a joke.”

Madonna To Build 10 New Schools In Malawi

 

Madonna has revealed she plans to build 10 new schools in Malawi with a new partner after she was forced to abandon her first project there last year.

The singer, who has adopted two children from the southern African nation, said she hoped the new schools would educate at least 1,000 children a year, half of them girls.

The academy she previously planned to build, which would have only catered for half this number of students, was scrapped because of mismanagement and spiralling costs
This time the pop star's Raising Malawi charity is teaming up with the non-profit group buildOn, which has constructed 54 primary schools in Malawi in the last 19 years.

"I am excited that with the help of buildOn, we can maintain our ongoing commitment to move forward efficiently. We now will be able to serve twice as many children as we would have served with our old approach," Madonna said in a statement.

"I have learned a great deal over the last few years and feel confident that we can reach our goals to educate children in Malawi, especially young girls, in a much more practical way.
"Constructing smaller schools in partnership with buildOn has restored my faith that we can accomplish what we promised we would," she added.

Madonna's earlier plan to build a state of the art girls school for about 400 girls just outside the Malawi capital Lilongwe collapsed last year, and the board of Raising Malawi was fired.

The New York Times said at the time that £2.4m ($3.8m) had been spent on the school with little to show for it.

The singer has lent £7m ($11m) to the organisation which she co-founded in 2006.

Malawi has more than half a million children orphaned by the Aids epidemic and is ranked by the United Nations as one of the world's 20 least developed countries.
Madonna has recently directed W.E, a film about Wallis Simpson, and she is due to release a new album next month.

‘Harry Potter’ star Daniel Radcliffe refuses to watch himself in the film franchise that made him famous because it makes him cringe.

In an interview with The Mirror, the 22-year-old actor said he was far from proud of his portrayal of the boy wizard which he began playing at age 11.

"I'd cringe so hard my face would fall off," Radcliffe said of looking back at his performances on the hit series based on the JK Rowling books of the same name.

‘The Woman in Black’ actor also opened up about his struggle with alcohol during filming of eighth and final instalment ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II’ which was released mid last year.

“I was able to do my job and never drank at work, but it was a daily thing leading me down a very, very destructive path.”

The news comes shortly after Radcliffe confessed he never speaks to ‘Harry Potter’ co-star Rupert Grinch unlike their wizard alter-egos Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.

Radcliffe, who has been dating 22-year-old Rosie ­Coker since they met on set of the last ‘Harry Potter’ film, told The Mirror he texts co-star Emma Watson regularly but “Rupert and I never text each other, we never see each other.”

“If I see him every six months or so, it’s a friendly ‘hello, how’s things with you’ but that’s about it.”

‘Harry Potter,’ which follows the life of a boy wizard and his friends, is the highest grossing film series of all-time making $7.7 billion worldwide.

We caught up with Daniel at his 'Woman In Black' premiere last week, where he said he was "thrilled" that Harry Potter had been recognised at the Oscars.

Paula Abdul Not Returning to 'X Factor'?

 
Paula Abdul is reportedly exiting the X Factor, Deadline reports.

News of the 49-year-old entertainer’s leaving the show comes after today’s string of X Factor losses.

Earlier in the day, host Steve Jones tweeted he would not be returning to the hit reality show. Judge Nicole Scherzinger has also apparently thrown in the towel.
A Simon Cowell insider has reported to Deadline that Paula will now be leaving too.

Brad Pitt - Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Prevent Children From Searching For Them Online

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have installed parental controls on all of their childrens' computers to block them from searching for the stars online.

The private Hollywood stars have been so determined to protect their six children from learning all about their celebrity lives, the Fight Club star tampered with each tot's Google.com settings to keep them in the dark.

He tells Germany's Bild, "On all the kids' computers we had our names blocked. They can't Google their mum and dad."

And Pitt admits Jolie and himself don't bother searching for themselves either: "I don't want to make myself dependent on what other people think. We don't even notice all the noise."

Bill actor Colin Tarrant dies at 59

Colin Tarrant, who was best known for his role as Inspector Andrew Monroe in The Bill, has died, his family said.
No details of his death were given, but the People reported the actor died in a suspected suicide and was found at his home in Bristol with knife wounds.

Tarrant, 59, had performed in a number of stage shows since leaving the long-running ITV police drama, which was axed in 2010.
A statement released on behalf of his family said he died suddenly at Bristol Royal Infirmary on Thursday.

It added: "Colin was best known as Inspector Andrew Monroe in the television series The Bill, a part he played very happily for many years.
"Since leaving the series he has triumphed on stage as Brian Clough in The Spirit Of The Man and had recently played John in the enormously successful stage production of Calendar Girls, and to which he would have returned this autumn."

West End theatre producer David Pugh added: "Colin was a lovely man, he loved the theatre, his politics and his family, our hearts must go out to his son Juma, his partner Sabrina and their baby son Louis."
The Bill, set in the fictional London area of Sun Hill, was launched as a series in 1984 and ran for 26 years.
Despite having a cult following, audience numbers fell in later years and it was eventually axed after 2,400 episodes.

Celebrity Big Brother: Denise Welch having sex with toyboy Lincoln Townley behind husband Tim Healy’s back?

Denise Welch stole the heart of the British public when she appeared in Celebrity Big Brother and she won the series as it drew to a close on Friday night. However, we can’t help but wonder if the public would have been so supportive if they had heard the rumours that the 53 year old actress has been having an affair behind her husband’s back.

Insiders have told The Mirror today that the Loose Women star has been meeting and sleeping with party organiser Lincoln Townley, 39, for the last eight months, usually in the afternoons when she is finished work on her ITV chat show.


A source told the newspaper that despite recently claiming to be closer to her husband than ever, Denise was actually planning to leave the chubby star when she finished on the Channel 5 reality TV show and a friend of her rumoured boyfriend insisted:

“She told Lincoln she loved him and she was going to announce she was separating from Tim after Celebrity Big Brother. It has got to the point where she wants to stop living a lie.”

They added:
“Lincoln said they have a great time ­together, the age difference doesn’t matter. She is a party girl, without doubt. He loves being with her because she’s such great fun.”

The pair are said to have been secretly dating since they met at an event last April and although they did occasionally stay at his home, it has been claimed that they usually rendezvoused at her suite in the Marriott Hotel County Hall.

Lincoln’s friend said that while it started on a very casual basis and was all about having fun and blowing off some steam, over the last few months things have become more serious, with Denise offering to leave Tim for her new man.

It’s not exactly new behaviour for Denise either, as back in 2004 she nearly destroyed her marriage after having an affair with carpenter Steve Murray. At the time she and Tim almost headed for the divorce court, before he finally forgave her.

Michael Madsen has added flames to the fire this week, when he claimed that during their time in the Celebrity Big Brother house, Denise also offered to have sex with him.

"We are very much in love and we're really, really busy. He is in L.A. working on his album. I'm in New York working on my album. We travel a lot, separately. We do want to get married and will get married, but we want to get married, enjoy each other, have babies and be able to take time off. We'll get married when things calm down a little bit."

"We’re gonna get married when the time is right, we’re enjoying each other, just having fun. Her music career is taking off. I would hate to stunt that, it’s gonna happen, it’s gonna happen."

Struggling Soap Actor Commits Suicide After Euthanizing Beloved Dog

 

A soap actor killed himself this week on his 47th birthday ... hours after he was forced to put his beloved dog to sleep under pressure from his Manhattan condo.

According to the NY Post the building had a ban on pit-bulls, but Nick Santino's dog had been grandfathered in ... which didn't sit well with some of the neighbors.  Some claimed the dog was loud and aggressive, but others said building management was just harassing Santino ... trying to force him to get rid of the dog.

Santino had Rocco put to sleep on Tuesday -- for some reason he felt that was his only option.

According to the paper, a tearful Santino brought dog treats to the doorman and said, "Give these to the other dogs.  Rocco is no more."

Later that day Santino left a suicide note that read, "Today I betrayed my best friend and put down my best friend ... Rocco trusted me and I failed him. He didn’t deserve this."

Santino -- who has appeared on "All My Children" and "The Guiding Light" -- OD'd on pills early the next morning.

Rocco was cremated and friends told the Post Santino will be too.

And so we knew it wouldn't be long until he got chatting about the lack of action in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

But we didn't expect the X Factor star to go THIS far with his answer. Leaving us cringing/blushing/laughing.

After finishing runner-up in last night's CBB final the cheeky chappy said he struggled without under-sheet action in the house.

He told us: "I w*** three times a day. I just love it. But in the house I didn't know what to do because it was killing me. My b******s started growing heavier and heavier."
Well that's a lot of information we didn't need.

But he told us it wasn't the longest time he'd ever gone without sex.

He said: "It's not the longest I've ever gone without sex. I lost my virginity at 12 and then there was a good 9 or 10 months without having sex and the whole time I was thinking about the first time."
That's a whole other load of information we also didn't need.
Asked whether he fancied the Playboy twins Kristina and Karissa he said: "I'm definitely in love with the twins. I hate their personalities but I love the way they look."

Meanwhile the Twins told us they knew Frankie was in love with them and would regret it if one day he became a famous rock star and they'd knocked him back.

Spice Girls to reunite for Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Mel B lets slip

Good old Mel B has accidentally revealed the 'top-secret' news that the Spice Girls are reforming for a concert at Buckingham Palace on June 4 to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Oops!

Scary Spice made the slip up during an interview on Australian TV. She was asked if the girl band would get back together for the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony and replied: "Ooh, I think the Queen's Jubilee concert is the event I'd be looking at more closely for that to happen."
She changed the subject and moved the interview on, but the Sun reports Mel seemed to confirm to the TV crew off-air that she hadn't made a mistake.

Mel said: "I am going to be in such strife for saying that. It's all so totally b***** top-secret still."
Not so secret anymore!

 

There has been no official confirmation about the line-up for the gig yet, but it will be recorded for TV and members of the public will be able to apply for tickets via a ballot for a place in the palace grounds.
The group has got back together since splitting in 2000, with their big comeback tour in 2007.
We'd love to see Mel plus Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Beckham reunite once more.

Mariah Carey Too Big For X Factor USA 2012 Claims Husband Nick Cannon

 

Simon Cowell better stop trying to get Mariah Carey on the new season of the X Factor USA because according to her husband, Nick Cannon, the 'Dream Lover' hit maker is too big for the show.

Dismissing the reports that Mariah will join Simon Cowell on the judging panel when the show returns later this year, Nick claimed that taking on the role as a judge on the show, would be a "step down" in his wife's career.
 Airing his opinions on his radio show Rollin’ With Nick Cannon, the star said:
"Like Nicole Scherzinger, my wife is not a fan of judging people. Nicole actually did say that she is used to performing, and the judging thing is not really natural for her. I really think that a lot of entertainers feel that way and I think these shows are really good shows, but when you get someone of status, or just big-time, career-wise, to do these shows, I personally think it’s a step down.”

He added: “Why would would my wife want to be on a show like that? For somebody who has a legendary career, I don’t know why they would do that.”

While the Rear Of The Year winner usually receives compliments for her shapely behind, she chose to highlight her other assets in the pale pink corset-style dress.

 

The figure-hugging frock showed off the 51-year-old's eye-catching curves to stunning effect, overshadowing her younger red carpet competition.

She sexed up the off-the-shoulder outfit even more with tousled hair and smoky eye make-up, adding a pair of dangly earrings to glam effect.

Sex And The City - Nixon Wins Over Critics With Wit

Sex And The City star Cynthia Nixon has won over critics with her "brave" and "shattering" performance in the Broadway production of Wit.

The actress shaved her head to take on the role of cancer patient Vivian in the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama, and the play gained a slew of positive reviews after it was unveiled to the press this week (beg23Jan12).

David Rooney of The Hollywood Reporter has called Nixon's portrayal of a dying woman "shattering", adding, "Nixon's brittle intensity and cool intelligence make her an ideal match for the uncompromising Vivian."

The New York Post's theatre critic Elisabeth Vincentelli writes, "Margaret Edson's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama Wit offers a lucky - and brave - actress a complex, finely detailed role that's as demanding as it is rewarding... (Nixon) is respectful, reliable and committed, having shaved everything for the role."

Joe Dziemianowicz, of the New York Daily News, goes on to compare Nixon's performance to her most famous role in hit TV show Sex and The City and her Tony Award-winning appearance in Rabbit Hole in 2006.

He writes, "Nixon brings the cool, detached demeanour familiar from her portrayal of Miranda Hobbes on Sex and the City as well as the grieving mother in Rabbit Hole, for which she won a Tony Award in 2006. She gives a commanding performance, one in which hard, sharp edges subtly soften."

Nicolas Cage Is Seeking Justice

 

What would you do if someone you cared about were attacked? Would you seek vengeance? Justice? That’s the question of Nicolas Cage’s latest thriller, which just so happens to be titled Seeking Justice. 

Seeking Justice finds Cage as Will Gerard, happily married to Laura (January Jones). But then she’s attacked, and ends up in the hospital. Distraught, Will is approached by Simon (Guy Pearce), who offers the services of his organisation. Seems they can take the criminal down and get Will a little payback. This won’t cost him anything, but he will owe them a favour. Clearly not thinking straight, Will goes along with it. And that’s when the trouble really starts.

See, the favour involves killing someone else. And when our hero decides he wants no part of it, Simon and his group decides to force his hand. And what does Will do then? Fights back, of course!
This one has been sat in limbo for a while, having finished shooting in 2009. Which does make us worry about its prospects for action awesomeness. There's also no set UK release date yet. But one thing is clear: When Cage sports a beard, bad guys show fear…

The original title for the movie was Hungry Rabbit Jumps, which does make us wonder what that has to do with the finished product. Here’s an idea! Why not ask Mr Cage himself! For those of you who didn’t yet know, the man himself will be in the Empire office for a web chat on Thursday (today, January 26 if you’re reading this in the UK and it isn’t already in the past). We’re just hoping he doesn’t go all Ghost Rider and try to wee fire on us.

'X Factor' Tulisa, Gary Barlow 'would love to come back' - NTAs video

Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos both confirmed backstage at the National Television Awards that they are keeping their fingers crossed for a second year as judges on The X Factor.


Barlow and Contostavlos both said that they would "love to come back", but admitted that they were in the dark over Simon Cowell and ITV's plans for the talent show.

The pop duo claimed that they would want Louis Walsh and Kelly Rowland back on the panel as well and Barlow joked that he expected Rowland to look like "the Bionic Woman" after being sent texts about her keep-fit regime over Christmas.

When asked whether they are concerned about falling ratings and the battle with Strictly Come Dancing, Contostavlos said: "We'll just have to keep making things better and better. At the end of the day, certain things are out of our control and we just have to find the talent and that's what we'll do.

"You can never go wrong with voices and singing and we all just want to find the next great musician. It brings acts like Little Mix and Marcus [Collins] to the public and shows what they can do."

The Hangover 3 Is Creeping Closer

 

The Hangover 2 may not have been the best comedy last year. Actually, it probably didn’t number among the 30 best comedies of 2011. But it did make a lot of people laugh, and stormed the box office, which in turn made Warner Bros. a lot of money. And though we’ve known this was on the way for a while now (mostly because director Todd Phillips said as much when he was out promoting the second film, the details are finally coming together for a shooting schedule and planned release.

And from the sounds of the Hollywood Reporter’s story on the matter, three other people are going to become both very happy and financially successful once they lock their deals in. Yes, stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis are currently deep in negotiations to return and since they’re the lynchpins of the franchise, they’re looking to score around $15 million each for their services.

Most of the money, as on the second film, will hit their bank accounts once the movie goes into profit, but given that the first Hangover made $467 million worldwide and the second $581 million, there’s little danger of that not happening.

We’re sure the studio will be happy to cough up the cash if it means a solid commitment to another entry. The current schedule is for the new outing to start shooting this summer ready for a late May 2013 release.

And what of the plot? Writer Craig Mazin is hard at work thrashing that out now, and he’s hopefully not just cutting and pasting the gags from the first two scripts into a new location. Phillips is on record as saying that he wants to change things up and the actors have also been putting that line across. We’ll wait and see…

Florence Welch has been pictured holidaying with new boyfriend James Nesbitt.
The pair, who is currently on holiday with friends in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, are believed to have met through mutual friends back in London.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Florence and James are pretty loved up.
"They instantly hit it off. James was privately educated in Yorkshire and now earns his cash from helping organise events.

"They have a lot of mutual friends and like going out to the same places. They have been inseparable since they got together. There's no way they'd travel halfway around the world together if they weren't serious."

Meanwhile, Florence And The Machine have announced details of a 2012 UK and Ireland tour.
The band will play ten dates across the UK and Ireland. The tour kicks off in Dublin on March 2, with dates in Cardiff, Nottingham, Manchester and London.

The tour will conclude at Newcastle's Metro Radio Arena on March 16.

Footballer Michael Ball fined £6k for anti-gay tweets to Antony Cotton

 

Footballer Michael Ball has been fined for sending homophobic tweets to Coronation Street's Antony Cotton.

The 32-year-old former England defender, who insulted actor Cotton on the microblogging website during his stint on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! last November, was ordered to pay £6,000 to the Football Association for bringing the game into disrepute.

Ball wrote on Twitter: "That f**king queer. Get back to your sewing machine in Corrie, you moaning b**tard." The FA was soon informed of the message and it was deleted.

According to The Mirror, the fine is the highest that the sporting authority has ever dished out for anti-gay slurs.

Ball also had his contract with Leicester City cancelled last night, but sources have claimed that it was for footballing-related reasons rather than the Twitter incident.

A spokesperson from the club said: "We would like to wish him well for the future."

The FA also issued a warning to all footballers against using Twitter to voice controversial opinions.

Another day and another Westlife tour date is announced, today the lads have confirmed a further show at London's O2 Arena for Saturday 12th May.

Westlife embark on their final ever tour together in May. They will play their final ever show together at Dublin's Croke Park in June. Simon Cowell 'seeking treatment for smoking addiction'

Simon Cowell has reportedly begun treatment to beat his addiction to cigarettes.

The Britain's Got Talent judge has been smoking for 44 years and currently goes through 15-a-day.

 

However, the 52-year-old is determined to kick the habit after being reminded of a number of smoking-related deaths in his family and has sought treatment from a clinic in Chelsea.

"Simon made it his New Year resolution," a source told The People. "He's been smoking since a very young age and feels the time is now right to try and stop.

"He has no major health issues at the moment but, as always, he is under a lot of pressure with his work schedule. Simon's mother and some of his closest friends have been nagging him for some time about trying to stop smoking.

"His grandfather was a heavy smoker who died of lung cancer. His father suffered a heart attack. It's made Simon think long and hard about his own health now."

Cowell's Britain's Got Talent co-judge Amanda Holden revealed in 2010 that the media mogul used to smoke in his dressing room during shows.

The pair have been joined by new panelists Alesha Dixon and David Walliams for the upcoming series of the show. The competition launched in Manchester on Friday (January 20).

Seal Tweets Following Heidi Split Rumours

 

Following the reports that broke yesterday about Seal and Heidi Klum splitting after six years of marriage, the singer has tweeted a cryptic message suggesting that its 'the end'.

The 'Kiss From A Rose' singer and his supermodel wife are said to be filing divorce papers early next week in the LA County Superior Court, citing 'irreconcilable differences', reports TMZ.

Last night, Seal tweeted: "The end", seemingly in reference to the rumours surrounding his marriage. Seal has been in the UK promoting his new album and its thought his erratic behaviour is the cause for the split and he's been partying too hard for Heidi.

“They were always the couple everybody strived to be but lately it all started to change," a source told The Mirror. “Seal seem to have been partying a lot more often than usual. When they had their holiday in Ibiza in the summer last year Seal hit it hard, was out at clubs and with his friends a lot and Heidi was left with their kids trying to enjoy herself. The cracks were appearing and everybody was talking during that trip. He seemed off the rails."

“They’ve spent a lot of time apart too on work assignments and that hasn’t helped matters," the insider continued.

“Then when Seal came back to the UK to do promo for his next album he seemed sleepy and not with it on shows like Loose Women – when he was very late for his appearance.”

Heidi and Seal were last seen together in Colorado where the family went skiing. Neither reps have issued a comment on the split rumours.

It's yet another devastating blow to Hollywood - whose stars can't seem to hold a marriage together - this is the same couple who renew their vows in a romantic ceremony each year!

Daniel Radcliffe: 'I'm not best friends with Rupert Grint'

 

Daniel Radcliffe has admitted that he does not have a close relationship with Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint.

The Woman In Black actor said that contrary to popular belief, he is not "the best of friends" with the rest of the cast.

"There's this idea that Emma Watson, Rupert and myself are the best of friends who always hang out together," the Sunday Mirror quotes him as saying.

"I'm just going to put [it] out there, Emma and I text all the time but Rupert and I never text each other, we never see each other.

"If I see him every six months or so, it's a friendly 'hello, how's things with you' but that's about it."Radcliffe added that he is being cautious about the roles he takes on after the wizarding franchise.

"I had a lot of offers post-Potter but I just try and stay away from any of the next big ­fantasy franchises or anything crap, really," he said.

Prince William - Prince William To Join Catherine On Caribbean Holiday

Britain's Prince William will join Duchess Catherine and her family on their Caribbean holiday after he finishes his weekly shift as an RAF search and rescue pilot in Anglesey, North Wales

Britain's Prince William will join Duchess Catherine and her family on their Caribbean holiday.

While the Middleton family jetted off to the island of St. Lucia on Wednesday (18.01.12) without the 29-year-old royal, it is understood he will join the group - which also includes Catherine's sister Pippa and brother James - after he finishes his weekly shift as an RAF search and rescue pilot in Anglesey, North Wales.

The sun-soaked holiday could be the last chance the couple get to spend some quality time together before William is deployed to the Falkland Islands for a six-week period with the RAF next month, the Daily Mail reports.

It is believed that since flying to St. Lucia on a scheduled British Airways flight, the family transferred to the private island of Mustique, where they are regular visitors at a multi-million pound cliff-top villa - which comes complete with five bedrooms and its own infinity pool.

Catherine is incredibly close to her parents and has previously revealed her hopes that she and second-in-line to the throne William will be as close to their own children.

She said: "It's very important to me. And I hope we will be able to have a happy family ourselves. They've been great over the years - helping me with difficult times. They are very, very dear to me."

William has also spoken about how "lucky" he felt to have been welcomed by Catherine's parents during the course of their relationship.

He explained: "Catherine's got a very, very close family. I get on really well with them and I'm very lucky that they've been so supportive. Mike and Carole have been really loving and caring and really fun and have been really welcoming towards me, so I've felt really a part of the family."

Ronnie Corbett daughter on collapse: 'We weren't ready for him to die'

 
Ronnie Corbett's daughter has described the comedian's sudden collapse on New Year's Day as "one of the most terrifying experiences" of her life.

The 81-year-old Two Ronnies Star was rushed to hospital after falling ill at a dinner with his family to celebrate his CBE. "I thought we'd lost him," 43-year-old Sophie recalled to the Daily Mail. "'I think we all thought that. It was up there as one of the most terrifying experiences for all of us, ever.

"We're not ready for that. We love him hugely and we've been loved hugely by him. He likes us to feel safe.

"He can't die. He's not allowed to. He's not like anyone else I know. None of us want to see our rocks vulnerable, do we?"

Sophie elaborated that she could not come to terms with the possibility of a "proud man" like her father passing away in such a public setting.

"I felt people were gawping. And there was my proud dad who'd passed out," she explained. "There were two people sitting by the door who were really cross that people were still queuing while Dad was like that.

"They wanted to shut the restaurant to stop people coming in. I thought, 'You're getting it. This is a really private moment in a really busy place'. I don't know who they were but I'd like to thank them."

Sophie accompanied her mother and sister on Ronnie's trip to hospital and was relieved to see the comedy icon back to his old self when they exited the ambulance.

"The ambulance people put him in a chair, which was when I knew he was back with us because he rolled his eyes as if to say, 'Bloody hell, how embarrassing'," she said. "As they wheeled him out and he waved to us from the back of the ambulance. That was such a relief."

Ronnie was named in the Queen's New Year's honours list for his contribution to showbusiness and charity work.

Heidi Klum To File for Divorce From Seal

Heidi Klum will file for divorce from Seal ... TMZ has learned.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ ... Heidi will file divorce papers in L.A. County Superior Court as early as next week. We're told Heidi will cite "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for the divorce.

The couple married May 10, 2005. They have 3 biological kids. Seal adopted Heidi's eldest girl from a prior relationship.

The couple is famous for renewing their vows every year on their anniversary ... in a lavish ceremony.

As for splitting up the goodies, there's a lot on the line. According to Forbes, in the last year alone, Klum raked in $20 million. It's unclear how much Seal made.

Heidi attended last Sunday's Golden Globes without Seal. The last photo she tweeted with him was back on December 26.

David Beckham gets more perfect by the minute saying: ‘I’d love to go to Africa to coach kids’

David Beckham isn't content with stealing the hearts of every female on the planet, oh no,  he tortures us almost daily by showing us just how perfect he really is.

  

Yesterday he posted a very cute photo of his sleepy self on Facebook before telling the world of his charitable ambitions when he retires from football.

"People always ask me if I'll go into coaching when I retire. I love coaching but I'd love to go into the field to places like Sierra Leone, to Africa, to see the kids and coach them," David said at a press conference yesterday.
We would have thought the dad-of-four would have wanted to move into a more lucrative role such as managing the England team.

 

But not modest David, he'd rather help children in developing countries than line his own pockets…
"These kids are walking about with literally no clothes on. But you arrive, put a soccer ball in front of them and they play like my kids play," David added.
"That's what soccer can do. It can change people's lives. It can take them away from the lives they've got every day. That's the power of soccer."
Erm, David what you just said was totally adorable and very applaudable.

Dakota Fanning's dip dye - eek or chic?

Pastel dip dye had a very brief moment last summer (ie six months ago with Dianna Agron, Katy Perry and Kate Bosworth). And of course there was The X Factor's Amelia Lily who had a very long love affair with Pink hair (we did not approve).

So we were surprised to discover the latest celeb to try the dip dye is Dakota Fanning, usually very keen to play it safe. Sporting a mustard printed mini skirt and white blouse in LA earlier today, Dakota debuted her candyfloss locks.

heatworlders, do you think Pink hair has had its day, or do you reckon Ms Fanning can get away with it? We just hope she doesn't pass the dye on to younger sister Elle anytime soon...

Jon Voight: 'Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt kids will be Hollywood stars'

Jon Voight has said that he expects the children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to become great actors.

The 73-year-old, who recently reunited with estranged daughter Jolie, said that the film industry should "be afraid" of the couple's six-strong brood.

Asked if he expects another generation of actors in his family, Voight told E!: "I do actually. I don't want to say [who], but I have a feeling that they will. I have no doubt.

"Hollywood should be afraid of them. These guys are really something."

Voight added that the children's loved ones would happily "support" all of their aspirations.

"I try to give them support as Brad and Angie do," he said. "They really let these kids be who they are."

It has recently been reported that Jolie and Pitt are expecting their seventh child.

Kelly Rowland and The X Factor: What’s really going on?

The last series of The X Factor only finished a month ago, but that’s not going stop us from talking about the next series of the talent show.
Auditions will get underway in just a few months, and we want to know just who’s going to be on the judging panel. According to The Mirror Kelly Rowland WON’T be putting it down this year, but we’ve spoken to Kel’s “people” and they’ve dismissed the claims that Kel definitely isn’t returning.

The tabloid reports this morning, “She enjoyed her time on the programme but was taken aback by the circus surrounding it. From his side, Simon [Cowell] felt that Kelly had got off to a really strong start but slightly faded towards the latter half of the series. He is already on the look-out for fresh talent.”

However we’ve heard from Kelly’s spokesperson, and truth is that no one knows who is going to be on the panel this year simply because negotiations haven’t even started yet,

“She loves being in the UK, loves being on the show. Discussions with the judges haven’t started yet.”
So there you have it. No one knows who’ll be on the show – no even Simon Cowell by the sounds of it. We’d love to see Kelly back on The X Factor, but do you want her back for a second year?

Did things get too complicated? Pop star Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner 'call it quits'

 

Brody Jenner and pop star Avril Lavigne have split up after nearly two years together, it has been claimed.

Celebrity gossip magazine Life & Style reports that a source confirmed the break-up.

'They decided to end their relationship,' the insider said.

'It wasn't working out and they wanted to go their separate ways.'

Insiders say the relationship partly ended because Avril, 27, and Brody, 28, had opposing views on marriage.

The singer - who had a hit with the song Complicated - has been married before, to Sum 41 front man Deryck Whibley, whom she wed in July 2006.

 

She started dating Brody shortly after filing for divorce in 2009.

Now it is alleged that she wants to go down the aisle again.

But Brody - whose stepsister Kim Kardashian recently ended her 72-day marriage - supposedly doesn't want to become a husband.

Another source told Life & Style: 'She wanted to settle down, but he wasn't exactly ready.

'They had been having problems starting in the summer with her tour because she was on the road all the time.

'It put a strain on their relationship.'

The couple have not commented on the alleged split.

Brody is the son of Bruce Jenner who is married to Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian family.

He gained fame after becoming a regular on the MTV reality TV series, The Hills.

Cheryl Cole sends friendly and supportive tweet to Nadine Coyle

Despite ongoing rumours of a rift between Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle, the Geordie star has publicly sent her support to her bandmate via Twitter.

On hearing that a close friend of Nadine's had sadly passed away, Cheryl, 28, sent her supposed rival a kind tweet.

She wrote: '@NadineCoyleNow Nadine. I just want you to know I am thinking of you at this sad and tragic time. I'm so sorry to hear of your lost. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. God bless you all. All my love Cheryl xx.' (sic)

It's widely thought that the pair have lost touch since Nadine moved to the US several years ago, while the other members of Girls Aloud have remained as close as ever.

In November, Nadine was quoted as telling Heat magazine that she doesn't consider her former bandmates as her friends.

She said: 'They're not my friends. I don't speak to them or socialise with them.

‘I have my own friends that I've grown up with and the girls are very much my colleagues. I wouldn't socialise with them outside of work.’

Rumer Willis apparently has nothing against her former step-dad Ashton Kutcher, if reports are to be believed.
The actress, 23, was apparently seen enjoying a light-hearted chat with mother Demi Moore's soon-to-be ex-husband at a pre-Golden Globes bash at Soho House in Hollywood.
People alleges that 'House Bunny' star Rumer was all smiles as she spoke with Ashton, 33, for about 20 minutes.
49-year-old Demi was also in attendance at the party, and was seen catching up with Madonna and manager Jason Weinberg.
It has been reported that she and Ashton were "100 per cent" normal with each-other.
Demi and Rumer have been spending a lot of time in public together lately. They also attended a Cinema For Peace event on Saturday (January 14), a night with attracted more attention to Demi's thin frame.
