The 32-year old then claimed to have evidence of their relationship, with Harvey tweeting: "Do you actually want me to tweet some of the messages you emailed me @cherylcole pipe down and stop playing the saint in front of your fans."
MC Harvey has apparently shown Now magazine the emails he received from Cheryl Cole during their rumoured secret relationship.
Last week, the So Solid Crew rapper revealed to the publication details of his supposed fling with Chezza, stating he became close to the 28-year old after her divorce from Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole in 2010.
Harvey - real name Michael Harvey Jr - went as far as telling the mag that he would have married Cheryl, dismissing her rumoured romance with dancer Derek Hough, confessing he was dating the Geordie babe instead.
His revelations sparked a Twitter battle with Cole, with the Girls Aloud star denying all knowledge of their rumoured hook-up, accusing Harvey "smoking something."
Now has since confirmed that Harvey has 'dozens of messages' from Cheryl, stating that they have even seen some emails from her mother, Joan Callaghan - which reportedly say she was happy her daughter was 'moving on with her life.'
Speaking of the evidence, Tim Parish - legal advisor for Now and and media lawyer for 24 years, claims: "I was asked to verify the authenticity of the emails between Cheryl Cole and Michael Harvey as a proof of a relationship between the couple.
"The emails I was shown dated back to 2010 and were correspondence to and from Cheryl Cole and Michael Harvey and also between Michael Harvey and Cheryl's mother Joan Callaghan.
"The emails give details of her feelings about The X Factor, pictures she sent to Michael Harvey as well as personal conversations between the pair.
"I concluded that the messages were real, had not been doctored in any way and confirm he was in a romantic relationship with the sender."
Earlier today (7th January) Cheryl appeared to comment on the latest revelations about her supposed relationship with Harvey, tweeting: "I don't know when I became so naïve but even after 10 yrs in this industry i am still shocked that people will tell soul destroying lies to benefit themselves #sadbuttrue."
Thanking her fans for their support, she later added: "Thank you. And Night night soldiers.. I love you sooo much x."
Cheryl has allegedly started legal proceedings against Now, with the magazine previously claiming: "We completely and wholeheartedly stand by our exclusive and refute any accusation that it contains untruths.
"Michael Harvey himself released a statement earlier this week standing by what he revealed in his interview in Now magazine. The article is not defamatory and was published in good faith
