Kate Winslet has become known for her effortless red carpet style, usually stepping out in body-con numbers that accentuate her figure.
The actress stepped out of her comfort zone yesterday at the Cesar Awards in Paris, opting for a plunging, sequin Jenny Packham dress for the ceremony.
The black-and-gold sequined gown featured a daringly low neckline and capped sleeves, and she accessorised the dress simply with an Anya Hindmarch gold clutch and Cartier jewellery.
The 36-year-old actress picked up an honorary Cesar Award last night for her life and acting career. Previous recipients of the award include Quentin Tarantino, Meryl Streep, Jean-Luc Godard and Spike Lee.
