Justin Bieber congratulates One Direction, The Wanted on chart success

Justin Bieber has congratulated One Direction and The Wanted on their US iTunes chart success.

One Direction's debut LP Up All Night currently tops the iTunes album listing and The Wanted's hit 'Glad You Came' also ranks in second place on the songs chart.

Bieber praised both bands on his official Twitter account on Tuesday (March 13), writing: "congrats to my dudes @onedirection for the #1 album on itunes and @thewantedmusic for the #2 on singles. We share the same queen. #Canadian."

The 'Never Say Never' singer also personally congratulated One Direction's Niall Horan on the band's success.

"Good guys always win bro. congrats," Bieber tweeted.

Horan replied: "thanks a lot dude, much appreciated and yeh you're right!"

Bieber's manager Scooter Braun recently hinted that a collaboration between the 'Boyfriend' popstar and One Direction is "very possible".

One Direction made their US television debut earlier this week when they performed 'What Makes You Beautiful' before thousands of screaming girls on NBC's Today.
